Airscan is a spin-off of CO2 Logic, a climate advisory company assisting companies and public organisations in becoming carbon neutral. Airscan was founded based on a strong belief that air pollution would be one of the next major challenges for our civilization. Airscans strategy is based on 3 pillars: 1.Innovative technology and expertise 10 years of research at the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) laboratory in France were required to develop the technology used by Airscan to measure air quality in real-time. It is protected by several patents and is based on a unique experience in nanoporous materials engineering. It also includes IoT technology, cloud, big data, machine learning and mobile apps to measure, simulate and predict air quality. This technology does not only contribute to better indoor air quality but also allows smart ventilation and heating resulting in significant energy savings and minimize the carbon footprint of entities. Airscan provides real-time measurements of VOCs, Formaldehyde, Carbon Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide, Particulate Matter, Radon, NOx, SOx, H2S, NH3, NCL3 & Ozone 2. Strong Partnerships The growth strategy of Airscan is based on strong long term partnerships with users of her technology and expertise (public entities, engineering companies, construction companies, HVAC companies etc. ) and innovative solution providers for air quality improvement technology. 3. Social and environmental Projects Airscan contributes to social and scientific projects around clean air. This contribution is achieved by providing free access to Airscan technology and expertise on one hand and also by collecting funds through the crowdfunding platform Earthfunders that Airscan created with her sister company CO2 logic. Earthfunders is managed and controlled by the King Baudouin Foundation of Belgium, one of the biggest charity organisations in Europe.
