Description
Food retailers slash food waste, boost profits, with Wasteless' optimized prices for perishables of shorter expirations

Wasteless is Food Retail’s turn-key food waste reduction solution, that increases a grocer’s bottom line, by optimizing markdowns based on expiry dates. Supermarkets sell more and waste less with Wasteless; leveraging optimized markdowns, consumers get to choose how much they want to pay for a product based on expiration dates. Wasteless continuously monitors stock levels to alert for out-of-stock. Wasteless recaptures lost revenue opportunities including cost of Food Waste and out-of-stock, decreases labor cost and creates new revenue opportunities by increasing product availability. Reducing food waste is considered the 3rd most impactful measure to reverse climate change (Drawdown.org). 40% of food produced ends up in landfills, making it the single largest CO2 emitter. Repairing the food system, through efficient supply chain management - specifically dynamic pricing- is a $120B opportunity according to a recent BCG study. With a light integration, on top of the existing IT infrastructure, Wasteless eradicates food waste in retail. Food Waste cost, according to ReFED, add up to double all profits from fresh products. Without this food waste, retailers could more than double their bottom line. With data, we deliver a Triple Bottom Line: Boosting Revenues, Slowing Climate Change, Increasing Food Security.
