T&T is an innovative company that was founded to contribute to the creation of a more sustainable future and take responsibility for future generations by delivering a universal energy solution for buildings of any use, from residential buildings to swimming pools or other buildings with commercial use. The Portuguese company mainly produces and installs a new disruptive technology of solar thermal systems. In collaboration with the University of Aveiro, T&T has developed a unique technology, Senergy Force, which solves common problems of conventional solar thermal systems. The connection between modules is made columns, which allows creating a chimney effect, that passively dissipates excess heat. This provides a natural cooling effect in the summer, which allows for the installation of several columns of panels, which in turn allows producing a sufficient amount of energy for the winter. This solution can be combined with other conventional solutions and possibly with a geothermal passive component. This can contribute to excellent indoor air quality and ventilation. Furthermore, it uses the physical process of warm air rising down and hot air rising to create a natural and comfortable room temperature without the need for energy. The cold air that rises downwards is discharged from the building through geothermal pipelines, while warm air enters through the solar system. This cycle can also be used in reverse, like an air conditioner in the summer, as the heated air exits the building and cool air enters through the geothermal pipelines. Depending on the region, the solution can save up to 90% of the energy needed for space heating, air conditioning, hot domestic water, ventilation, and even pool water heating.
