About

The company was founded in 2019 by Denis Tudor, CEO, and Cyril Dénéréaz, CTO, two multiple-award winners of the SpaceX Hyperloop Competition. Swisspod is a Swiss-American transportation technology company that helps mobility vehicle manufacturers to build energy efficient high-speed vehicles (60% more efficient) and rail operators to run net-zero emission services, removing diesel-powered locomotives. The company is leading the development of the most sustainable, efficient, and comprehensive Hyperloop solutions, leveraging a fully electromagnetic propulsion system implemented within open-air rail vehicles retrofitting existing infrastructures. To reach subsonic speed levitating on ground level the team is developing a self-contained capsule operating in a low-pressure environment, such as a vacuum tube or tunnel. The only hyperloop company in the world managing 2 testing facilities in 2 continents to accelerate product development and commercial activities.
