Soraytec creates grid visibility in electricity networks to improve safety, efficiency and reduces the risk of blackouts

The world’s first IoT based real-time data streamer that is directly connected to all three phases of the medium voltage network and that does not require any additional sensors or auxiliary equipment. It enables grid operators to receive early warnings of potential black or brown outs and in case of an event is capable to accurately characterize and localize a (potential) fault. Alternative solutions either require installation of smart transformers with costs in excess of EUR 10k and/or installation of low voltage auxiliary equipment with limited capabilities and impractical infrastructure in terms of data streams at a cost similar or above Soraytec’s solution depending on features. Pilot installations showed that Soraytec’s solution allows DSOs to reduce losses by half, compared to the alternative solution.
