About

Soil Capital aims to make regenerative agriculture mainstream within the decade. These farming practices store carbon, produce abundant and healthy food, increase biodiversity and improve farmer livelihoods. To support farmers in their transition towards these more sustainable practices. we launched in September 2020 the first ISO certified carbon payment programme for farmers in France, Belgium and the UK. The programme is supported by a software that empowers farmers to calculate, certify and monetise their reductions of greenhouse gas emissions and sequestrations of carbon in the soil. 150 farmers registered into the programme the first season. We are now opening up the programme to 1000 farmers. With buyers of carbon certificates such as Anheuser-Busch InBev, Cargill or L'Oreal Paris, farmers can now be recognised by the industry and consumers alike for their ability to heal the planet.
