SMOME is a French manufacturer and builder of passive homes. Depending on the orientation, compactness, and potential solar shading of each project, SMOME's solutions can achieve the highest level of thermal performance with the PHPP certification awarded by the Passiv Haus Institut in Germany and the Maison Passive in France.
SMOME produces the components of a habitat in a factory before transporting and assembling them directly at the project site. This off-site construction principle offers the advantages of providing the best value for money through the industrialization of the production process and optimizing the construction timeline to reduce on-site intervention time.
SMOME integrates energy efficiency into the design of its solutions and considers the carbon footprint by selecting bio-based materials to contribute to better respecting what the planet Earth naturally offers and thus participate in preserving humanity and the environment.
SMOME was the winner of the ADEME 2018 competition in the environmental performance of buildings category, certified as GREENTECH INNOVATION by the French Ministry of Ecological Transition, and received the special jury prize from FIBOIS 2018.
