About

Redhill Scientific has exclusive patent licenses on thin-film plasma reactor designs. Our low pressure, low temperature plasma technology is scalable, safe, and simple to manufacture into a broad variety of devices using a common, highly-robust architecture. Over 20 years in the making, our patented process creates nitrate fertilizer on-site and on-demand with a simple combination of air, water, and electricity. Our agricultural product line can create unlimited amounts of all-natural aqueous nitrogen fertilizer on-site and on-demand, potentially eliminating a grower’s unavoidable recurring cost while reducing fears of runoff and pollution. Engineered for direct application to plants via spray or irrigation, our non-thermal plasma nitrogen fixation system uses zero fossil fuels, releases zero carbon, is more fully utilized by plants, and reduces the chance of evaporation or nitrogen run-off. Our machines replicate the natural nitrate creation process found in thunderstorms. It’s literally lightning in a bottle. Our environmental remediation technology can be used to degrade numerous toxic organic compounds. Our thin-film reactor product simultaneously and rapidly treats both gas and liquid phase organic pollutants by degrading specific “non-bioavailable” organic wastes into “bio-available” compounds that can be reduced to safe levels for disposal or reduced further in a bioreactor. Our liquid film reactors create hydroxyl (•OH) radicals formed by the dissociation of water by plasma generated within the chambers. These •OH radicals, can dissociate oxidizable materials and compounds in both liquid and gas phases. Our technology is scalable, and can potentially assist clean up efforts of any size from table-top to large industrial spills.
