The boats are mostly in port and the outings do not exceed 15 days in a row. Marine animals do not have time to colonize the hull with this protection device, it is no longer useful to use antifoulings.
This device once in place prevents marine animals from attaching to the hull below the waterline which prevents; a loss of speed, an overweight of the boat, excessive fuel consumption, pollution of the marine environment.
It therefore greatly reduces the costs of maintaining a boat.
