Increasing cost of living (housing) is pushing people away from city centers to more urban areas, not well connected with public transport forcing them to utilize their personal cars (if available) to commute. Penny was founded in 2023 and provides a cost-efficient, sustainable and stress-free solution to bridge the connection gap and reduce car usage. By registering to our app for free, user gets an immediate access to our fleet of e-mopeds. User can simply locate, unlock and ride a penny e-moped from the smartphone. We provide in-app payments, customer verification, real-time tracking, 24h customer support (AI), built-in alarm and all the necessary equipment to ensure a safe ride (insurance, helmets). After 1Y of operations in Thessaloniki penny was counting more than 4000 active users on the platform.
