About
Orxa Energies is a hardware start-up based out of Bangalore that develops clean & intelligent transport solutions. Founded in Aug.2015 by Dr. Prajwal Sabnis, Orxa builds "no-compromise" electric vehicles & energy solutions.
Mantis, Orxa's first platform, is a series of high-performance electric motorcycles and trikes. The Mantis has a range of 200 km and a top speed of 140+kmph. The Mantis is strongly positioned as a high-performance, lifestyle vehicle, removing range & performance anxieties while adding the clear advantages of being electric (torque, acceleration). This is intended to change the common paradigm of weak electric 2-wheelers. Having built functional prototypes and hundreds of kilometers of testing, the Mantis is being accelerated into certification shortly.
Orxa's energy solution is a logical extension of the vehicle platform. With multi-industry applications and validation, the energy solution is ready to hit commercial milestones very soon.
The startup is accelerated at the Season 3 of Airbus BizLabs.
