About
Ocean Born Impact is the impact investment arm of the Ocean Born Foundation, which was launched in 2020 and is focused on reducing climate change and improving planetary health across four business lines, with more than 20 investments or donations made to date, and with more than 60 employees, advisors and volunteers. The Foundation’s existing investments include CHOOOSE (carbon emission measurement and mitigation platform for major corporates and individuals), Naked Energy (solar thermal energy), and bound4blue (mechanical sails reducing maritime emissions). The Ocean Born Foundation is one of the nominators for The Earthshot Prize.
Ocean Born Impact is Foundation-Owned, Science-Led, Impact-Driven and Returns-Focused, and offers its operational and technological expertise, effective advocacy, a strong and broad network, and a leading impact measurement framework to the growing ecosystem of companies and individuals also seeking to protect what they love.
