Animal comfort often refers farmers to notions of well-being, demanded by a society that has gradually moved away from their constraints and which, for farmers, are sometimes based solely on urban and ethnocentric considerations. Putting the happiness of farmers and veterinarians at the centre of farm performance makes it possible to bring everyone's success closer to the happiness of the animals, approached by simple criteria: absence of wounds, excessive dirt, a satisfactory body condition, natural behaviour of the animals respected, animal management that suppresses, relieves or avoids all pain and stress, supported by satisfactory zootechnical results as well as control of the farm's impact on the environment. It is also a way of reinforcing communication on the excellence of the work carried out by these farmers and demonstrating the indispensable link between the happiness of the animals and the performance of the farm. Animals that feel good on their farm, farmers who are happy with their animals and a farm that is completely in tune with its environment and society's expectations concerning the preservation of biodiversity. This characteristic constitutes a strong added value for the products from these farms and can be the basis of a new valorisation associating the happiness of the animals, the people and the quality of the products. Today we wish to organise a distribution circuit to enable you, the consumer, to identify and understand the values of livestock farming, and to participate actively in strengthening this type of production. To do this, we created the "HAPPY Approach", we audited hundreds of farmers, validated many of them as "HAPPY FARMERS", and we created and trained a network of veterinarians, the "HAPPY VETS", who are able to work with and accompany farmers in their efforts to improve the well-being of their animals.
