About

It is very simple to get plastic or metal parts made in 3D printing. But when you need to get ceramic parts made in 3D printing, it's more complicated, sometimes even impossible. Founded in 2020 by Vincent POIRIER, Novadditive is the first industrial production center of its type for custom-made ceramic parts in 3D printing. Novadditive’s mission is to make 3D printed ceramic products affordable to anyone who doesn't want to make them themselves. In its factory in Tarbes (southwest of France), Novadditive produces industrial parts in different ceramics with 3D printers of different technologies and adapted kilns. From unique pieces to large series, the markets addressed are luxury (renowned "Maisons", tableware, design, art) and high technologies (space, aeronautics, defence, nuclear, research, medical, chemistry, electronics power, radio frequencies, etc.). Based on more than 35 years of expertise in ceramics, Novadditive uses several major 3D printing technologies (SLA, FFF, LDM) and produces a very wide range of ceramics (alumina, zirconia, ATZ, silicon nitride, aluminum nitride, silicon carbide, HAP, TCP, cordierite, silica, porcelain,...) . Thanks to 3D printing, Novadditive leverages the exceptional properties of ceramics through geometries impossible to achieve otherwise. The absence of production tools accelerates R&D and reduces the time to market. By adding ceramic material only where necessary, we are also following a sustainable approach. We are saving mineral and natural raw materials by 3D printing them only at the place they are needed. The manufacture of 3D-printed ceramics fully meets today's major innovation challenges: increased performance in the hi-tech world and ever more surprising solutions in the luxury world, without spending too much raw materials. For example we can manufacture 3D printed lightweight refractory saggars saving 70% of energy compared with the same shape but dense!
