Mukuru Clean Stoves employs a dual-pronged approach to address critical health and environmental challenges in underserved markets. By repurposing recycled metal, we craft high-efficiency cookstoves, significantly reducing household air pollution and fuel consumption. Additionally, we harness agricultural waste to produce mosquito repellent fuel, offering families a potent defence against malaria. Partnering with local women business owners, we ensure widespread distribution, reaching the last mile of communities most in need. Through our sustainable technology, we empower individuals at the base of the economic pyramid, providing them with life-saving tools and fostering a healthier, more resilient and climate adaptive future.
