MolluSCAN-eye is an innovative, real-time water quality monitoring solution that leverages living mollusks—such as oysters and mussels—as highly sensitive natural bio-sensors. Using patented High Frequency Non-Invasive (HFNI) valvometry, the system detects minute behavioral changes in mollusks caused by pollutants and environmental stress, delivering continuous, 24/7 eco-friendly monitoring. Data from the bio-sensors are transmitted via IoT and analyzed by AI-driven algorithms, enabling early detection of pollution events—up to 10–100 times more sensitive than traditional methods—across diverse aquatic environments: industrial sites, wastewater treatment plants, ports, and natural ecosystems.
