About
Melia is a French Greentech company founded in June 2023, dedicated to decarbonizing local territories by transforming the woody fraction of green waste into high-quality pellets for heating public and community buildings. By developing a network of production units all around the french and european territories, Melia aims to create a local energy loop: using local green waste to produce local renewable heat. This model not only reduces greenhouse gas emissions but also relieves pressure on traditional forest biomass resources. In a context of increasing volatility in raw material markets, Melia offers stable pellet prices protecting local stakeholders from supply chain disruptions and energy crises. Through innovation and circular economy principles, Melia contributes to a more resilient, sustainable, and energy-independent future for communities.
