About
Our goal is simple:
to offer high quality furniture,
made in France and entirely "recycled".
All at an affordable price.
An involuntary production
__
To produce its goods, a factory involuntarily generates a second production: that of its waste.
Scraps, pre-series, failures, wedging parts, margins of error, purges, downgrades, surpluses... In France, the industry rejects a third of its production in the form of waste.
We are talking about 65,000 tons of material every day...
This waste is the result of a particularly linear economy that never gives the material a second chance. And yet, in such quantities, industrial waste constitutes an abundant, serial, standardized resource, perfectly capable of feeding new production.
An ideal resource
__
Industrial surplus is the result of a real manufacturing process. Beyond a strictly "material" approach, specific to recycling, we consider it for its form, and for all the qualities acquired during the stages of its production. It is an object, a semi-product with no future. To reuse it is to take advantage of all the technical equipment deployed for its transformation: machines, human time and know-how constitute the true value of production losses.
Exploiting this value allows us to operate a real economic tour de force, to propose products made entirely in France, finished by hand, guaranteed for life and at affordable prices.
The surplus in series
__
We travel throughout France and its industries to identify the production of industrial surplus.
Their form and materials are as diverse as the industrial landscape itself. But they have one thing in common: they are all standardized products.
We manufacture our furniture, giving the circular economy an industrial dimension.
From design to finish
-
The life span of a piece of furniture depends of course on the quality of its manufacture, but starts with a rigorous search for ergonomics and elegance. This design stage is essential: from a constraining resource, it allows us to create objects without compromise.
French production losses
-
The surplus production we work with is not just a piece of raw material. First guarantee of their quality, they were produced in French factories, and carry in them all the know-how and the requirement of our partners.
Finished by our white hands...
-
It is in our workshops in Ivry-sur-Seine that the operations necessary to transform waste into objects are carried out. This artisanal dimension confers to our furniture the quality and the level of irreproachable completion that only the hand can give.
