About

The combination of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet-of-Things (IoT) is enabling to transform the way we interact with our devices at home, at work and in our cities and has far-reaching potential for all industries (Industry 4.0). A smarter future can already start in Switzerland, while Swiss startups, companies and research institutions can already work on proof-of-concepts in their own market. The complexity and implementation of such full-stack technologies require a multi-stakeholder approach to gather the right competencies within the Swiss ecosystem and achieve a significant global impact. After much upfront work in previous years, we launched the IoT Business Hub initiative in 2020 and transitioned it into a non-profit organization in 2021. In collaboration with partners from industry, research, software development, universities, ETH, ZHW, CSEM apply we want to contribute. Among other things, we are involved in the side panel organization of the WEF for IoT and AI.
