About

HyLight builds and operates autonomous airships for long-distance surveillance. We focus on detecting methane leaks on pipelines and faults on power lines. Our innovation, the HyLighter, is a cross between drone and airship technology. Like a drone, it is easy to control and transport. And, like an airship, it is extremely energy-efficient, enabling it to fly for up to 10 hours at low speed (35 km/h) for optimum data collection, representing a range of 350 km. Today, energy infrastructure operators are finding it difficult to carry out inspections that are both massive and accurate. HyLight offers a solution for accurately detecting infrastructure problems on an industrial scale, and all this without emitting greenhouse gases. We have developed 5 different flying aircraft and signed 5 pilot programmes with major energy infrastructure operators. We also have letters of intent worth over 3.5 million dollars.
