The technology has many areas of use, but initially we will focus on the recovery of re-oxidized residual products from the metal industry, slag, which today is often put in landfills or used as filler. In addition to circularity with reduced resource utilization, this solution gives profitability, as the mill scales come from alloys with nickel, manganese and molybdenum whose metal value is many times higher than that of pure Fe. The oxidized scale alone provides an annual global market of 100 million tons of recycled metal.
