Based in Ottawa, Canada, GBatteries is pioneering technology which enables the ultra-fast charging of Li-ion batteries without compromising battery life, without changing the battery’s chemistry, or the manufacturing process.
Their vision is to charge lithium-ion batteries as fast as a car can be filled with gasoline, to remove charge time as a barrier to the adoption of electric vehicles. Eliminating this obstacle will accelerate and broaden electric vehicle deployment and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
