About

Successful energy optimization answers 3 questions: Do I supply my installations with energy? 1. Only when necessary? Sobriety aspect: reduce waste 2. As efficiently as possible? Efficiency aspect: reduce losses by increasing yields 3. With the best energy source? Renewable aspect: choosing the right type of energy Efficiency being the conjunction of effectiveness and sobriety, it's only natural that our project, and then the company we founded, should be called Efficience Energétique pour Petites et Moyennes Entreprises, abbreviated E2PME. The aim of this innovation is to enable the operator or setter of an industrial system to optimize the system's behavior or settings, in order to achieve the best performance in terms of production, quality of execution and energy consumption, in the same way as a car driver uses his dashboard to ensure eco-driving. We have measured machines where the total energy from waste and losses represented 80% of consumption. In such cases, gains are very easy to implement.   By studying different production systems, it became clear that there are 2 families of energy performance actions (APE). Those which act: - On the time axis, e.g. by not leaving the system switched on when not in use - On the power axis, e.g. using motors with a better efficiency class.
