About
Since 1992 DOER has pioneered innovative solutions for ocean and harsh environment exploration. From components including manipulators, thrusters, and sampling devices to full system builds of human occupied submersibles, ROV's, and AUVs DOER works to include for benefit elements, not only in the manufacturing process but also by working with end users to encourage data sharing and collaboration. A current example of this is the Honu Submersible project. Rather than simply build and deliver submersibles to the client, we are actively working with them on capacity building, scientific program objectives, education and complementary technology including landers and ocean observing. The company is also working on efforts to demonstrate job creation via technologies for coastal resilience and restoration under our Area 41 Alameda accelerator. DOER has won several innovation and manufacturing awards and is woman owned/operated.
