Forestor offers corporate solutions facilitating the capture and sequestration of atmospheric CO2 through local forest.
About
Forestor's Mission: Growing the French Forest by 3 Million Hectares by 2026.
To achieve this, Forestor acts as an intermediary between companies and forest owners, offering simple solutions.
This involves:
1- Parcel Selection: Identifying plots within a <30 km radius around companies.
2 - Intermediary Role: Facilitating the process for companies by liaising with forest managers and owners.
3 - Commercial Operations: Linking planted forest square meters to company activities (e.g., X days of truck activity or X m2 of office space = Y square meters of planted forest).
4 - Forestor Charter Signing: Companies commit to the Forestor Charter, ensuring biodiversity preservation, welcoming three species, promoting carbon storage, excluding chemicals, obtaining PEFC or FSC certification, and maintaining forest cover for 30 years.
