About
The Costa Rican founded Center for Regenerative Design & Collaboration has designed a
unique regenerative, circular economy model called REAP - Recover, Enrich, Appreciate, Prosper.
REAP is the scalable, industrial solution to the global un-managed plastic waste crisis.
REAP is a proven circular economy solution that can RECOVER massive industrial quantities of plastic waste and ENRICH it into RESIN8TM, a synthetic lightweight, insulating, construction aggregate.
We APPRECIATE and fix the RESIN8TM into a wide range of high quality concrete products that help build climate change resilient infrastructure that will PROSPER over the long term.
REAP and RESIN8TM are groundbreaking regenerative solutions that represents a cross-industry collaboration between CRDC, the leading plastic, waste management, construction industries and NGOs. REAP and RESIN8TM are tried, tested, in operation, have a low Capex and can be scaled to regional plastic waste volumes. They also support 12 of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
We acknowledge the enormity of the task we collectively face as society, and now that there is a solution we have a collective responsibility to make it happen.
