Creation of a fleet of solar-powered boats for hire on rivers without a licence and for electricity generation

After creating the first (and only) solar-powered hotel boat in 2006, which has been sailing without fuel for 11 years, we are currently working on the creation of a fleet of Coches (river boats for hire without a licence) which are solar-powered from May to September and produce electricity from October to April. At present, the rental boats are diesel-powered, which represents CO2 emissions of around 100,000 tonnes of CO2 per year, plus hydrocarbon waste in the water.
