About
Our Biowave™ technology has proven to work as a bolt-on to a new or existing biogas facility (anaerobic digester). The organic waste feedstock is microwaved prior to entering the anaerobic digester. This transfer of electromagnetic energy into the feedstock breaks down the hard carbon, making the waste far more digestible. This results in a much higher biogas yield, in significantly faster time.
We differ from our competition in a number of ways. Microwaves have significant technical advantages vs existing pre-treatment solutions. They are more energy efficient, they don’t require expensive chemicals to aid the process and the processing time is also superior, in the order of seconds, not minutes or hours.
Biowave™ microwave treatment is applicable for a range of biorefinery solutions such as biomass pre-treatment and bio-based side stream treatment for high value applications. We have a very diverse and capable team with experience in engineering, electronics, automation, finance and biology.
