About

Due to the increasing size of farms, crop monitoring is becoming more and more difficult to achieve with conventional farmers' means. As a result, and in order to prevent losses that can be enormous, farmers too often use plant protection products on their entire farm as a preventive measure. Such practices have significant consequences from economic (costly products), environmental (water, air and soil pollution) and health (contacts with harmful products) perspectives. To overcome this, Abelio offers an autonomous system of daily farm monitoring. We develop a solar drone and a multisource (drone, satellite, weather stations, agronomic models) data analysis technology which anticipates and detects the main farm problems (diseases, pests, lack of water...). Thus, we allow not only the farmer to monitor the state of health of his farm day by day but above all to receive a daily diagnosis and advice in terms of treatment to be provided (which product, which dosage, which timing, which place). Farmers can then optimise the use of pesticides, water and fertilizers, according to the real needs of their crops.
