ScaleBuster ISBF

A whole-house water filtration and conditioning systems, for optimising water quality

  • World Alliance Member
  • Featured Solution
  • Labelled Solution
Label Date September 23, 2022
From United Kingdom
Maturity stage TRL 9 / CRI 5-6 - Market competition driving widespread deployment &/"Bankable" grade asset class

The solution gives the best whole-house water filtration solution vs. other available options on the market. Filtration to 40 micron (second stage) by a welded stainless steel screen, a mechanical scraper and back wash by vortex (very effective even with low pressure incoming water systems). With no consumables (no cartridge replacement), no potential leaks as to faulty O-ring (as with cartridge based filters) and no operational cost (no electric power, no chemicals, no cartridges). On top of the filter, the ISBF kit contains a ScaleBuster physical water conditioner which prevents scale and corrosion (and even slowly removes old scale formation in your water system)

The Environmental Benefits

  • Eliminates the Operational Expenditure of over 180 cartridges (average 25 Euro each)
  • 40 micron filtration
  • Enables savings of around 65% in CO2 emissions, when compared to traditional cartridge filters
  • Lifetime of 15 years

The Financial Benefits

  • In 15 years of operation with no need to replace cartridge monthly - savings of 180 x 25 Euro (average) is 4.500,00 Euro
  • For a home with average 80 Euro/month water heating cost, savings can reach over 3.600,00 in 15 years (180 months x 20 Euro)
