A new wave energy transmission for subsea power
WITT is an energy harvesting system that turns motion from wind, water and humans and turns it into electrical power with zero emissions.
Capturing and making use of Naturally Occurring Motion Energy (NOME) for electricity remains a key challenge. WITT Energy addresses this challenge by taking the motion in water, wind and humans and turning it into electrical power which can be stored and called upon when needed. The Solution uses naturally occurring motions, such as those generated by water currents, to generate electricity by capturing energy from all six degrees of freedom. The system is zero emissions, recyclable and scalable, with units able to be built from centimetres to metres from standard industry parts. An example of the Solution in practice is the harvesting of sub-sea water motion & turning it into power to provide a solution for the aquaculture industry. This has huge potential for sectors such as fish farms, and could replace polluting diesel generators with clean energy.
WITT harvests motion and turns it into power, zero emissions in all water, even subsea, lowering the carbon emissions.View company profile
