An industrial solution tackling single-use packaging issues in the food and non-food industry

Identification
More than 90 billion of food packaging are produced in France each year, and as many end up as waste to be treated. Being aware that waste production and end-of-life management can be both energy-consuming, environmentally and sanitary harmful, Uzaje has decided to take action.
Uzaje offers industrial cleaning solutions and logistics support to set up reuse schemes in order to replace single-use packaging. Uzaje proposes a turnkey and durable solution for distribution experts relating to commercial distribution, mass catering (canteen), food retail, food and no-food industry such as cosmetic. Uzaje can take action at different stages of the process: packaging choice, logistics (system and transportation), high-efficiency cleaning and deposit management. Thanks to its solution, Uzaje is strongly involved in waste reduction, using durable materials, mainly glass and inox, and working with low-consumption technology. Besides, Uzaje participates in lowering plastic exposure in the food industry, whose sanitary impacts are currently neither well-known nor well-controlled.
