Identification

Hive Optimal is an AI-based energy optimization software that drives existing cooling and refrigeration systems (without any equipment replacement) to generate up to 40 % savings. It helps commercial and industrial buildings lower energy consumption & reduce carbon footprint. Today, HVAC-R equipment operates under the control of automation systems or a building management system which have a fixed operation and can only react to the external & internal environment according to programmed logic. BeeBryte offers an additional layer of intelligence that makes the system predictive and adaptive, unlike traditional reactive regulation. Using weather forecast and activity patterns, it anticipates energy demand and adjusts the operation of the equipment accordingly. It improves the reliability of the installations (early detection of anomalies) & reinforces temperature uniformity in different zones, guaranteeing compliance with prescribed constraints, such as air quality, and comfort.

Implemented by DHL in Singapore (Singapore) in 2018

DHL’s Advanced Regional Center in Singapore contracted BeeBryte to resolve the suboptimal operation of its cooling systems. Despite modern equipment, the warehouse consumed a significant amount of energy to cool 90,000 m2. The solution helped enhance the DHL team’s understanding of HVAC systems, reduced the response time of maintenance teams, and thus reinforced the resilience of the installations.
