The DARF is very simple & reliable ; it is composed with: a valve to stop the fluid, a check valve to monitor the flow, an actuator to multiply the energy and a mechanical trigger to liberate the energy. Full mechanical. DARF's basic function is to avoid any backflow, but when going deeply in the solution we may note that this device can be used for other usages (and can ensure several functions) : protecting a network from any backflow (that is kept opened with or without any flow, it only checks the circulating way), closing a valve when a tank is full (it means it’s a self closing valve or a single way valve)… Hydrogen, nitrogen & oxygen industrial network will be covered with the first device that are under development. But this new concept could be scrutinized for evaluation in many fluid processes to check its added value (cost, reliability, independence, energy free…). It could be integrated in many fields such as : hydrogen or compressed air for mobility, water city network, clean&sterile fluid (food& pharma), medical devices, refrigerant fluids and other industrial purpose… DARF can be integrated with any kind & size of valve, any material, any pressure, any flow…
