The Blue uses heat from wastewater to preheat the cold water supply, resulting in a significant lower demand for hot water. By doing so, the demand for hot water drops significantly which means a significant lower energy consumption (depending on the version, a 4-person household can save up to 1.876 kWh per year). In turn, this allows for a smaller hot water system. The installation costs of the hot water system and the utility bill will be lower. The energy performance of the building will improve considerably and less CO2 will be emitted. The Blue has been specifically developed for multi-story construction and projects where the highest possible efficiency must be achieved on one floor.

The Environmental Benefits

  • Save up to 65% on your energy usage for showering
  • Simplify your hot water system
  • Reduce your CO2 emission for showering by up to 50%

The Financial Benefits

  • Save up to €5,000 on your technical installations
  • Long-term financial savings
