Identification

Studer provides solutions for the electrification of remote areas. In places that the electrical grid cannot reach, the traditional option is to use a diesel generator for productive tasks requiring a few kW of power (ranging from 2 to 72 kW). Those are noisy, polluting, and expensive to run. Studer proposes a solution to hybrid the existing systems with solar energy, or even replace the system with a fully solar and battery system. This helps to reduce the cost of diesel and in the end, gives a cheaper price per kWh considering the levelized cost of energy (LCOE) over the life of a system. Besides cost advantages, there are environmental benefits with CO2 reduction, as well as an improvement of life conditions with noise and pollution reduction.
