WITT Energy takes the motion in water, wind, and humans/animals and turns it into electrical power that can be stored and called upon when needed. The system is totally green and recyclable. Units can be built from cms to mtrs from standard industry parts. WITT is working on its first product, using the WITT system to harvest sub-sea water motion and turn it into power to provide a solution for the aquaculture industry. Fish farms are moving further out to sea, needing power for lighting, feeding, security etc, the $200 billion industry is currently using a hybrid solution of diesel generators, solar panels, and wind turbines, WITT can work in harmony with other solutions harvesting Vortex Induced Vibration water motion as a new power solution greatly reducing the need for diesel generators!

The Environmental Benefits

  • WITT can reduce CO2 emission, 1 farm saving 4 tonnes p/year. 1 unit harvest 10+ watts of power from VIV. A CO2 calulation, by 2025 we can save 50 tonnes of CO2, doubling to 100 by 2026, growing yearly
  • Single aqua culture farm uses 111,000 litres of fuel which is equivalent to 293te CO2
  • WITT has global patent protection and follow on patents as we progressed
