Solar Cloth manufacture ultra flexible and thin film (less than 1 mm) solar panels aimed to be installed where other solar panels are not relevant and thus open a new market. It can be fixed on light building, textile areas (shade textile, tents...), trucks and small vehicles, boats, or be foldable and relevant for other usage like in greenhouses.
The Environmental Benefits
- •1 square meter = 176Wp, less than 2kg and below 1mm thickness
- •At least 80% of efficiency at 20 year of age
- •Estimated carbon footprint is 15gr of CO2/kWh
The Financial Benefits
- •When installed on trucks, the panel avoid immobilisation breakdowns and the cost of an intervention
- •When installed on tents, the panel will allow to not be connected to the electrical grid
- •When installed textile greenhouses, this will allow to create a huge PV parc without the need of an additional structure
