Implementation Stories

Solar Cloth thin film photovoltaic panel by Solar-Cloth
Implemented by French Institute for Agronomic Research in Antibes (France) in 2021

The French Institute for Agronomic Research (INRAe) called upon Solar-Cloth in 2021 to install their Solution in one of their greenhouses in the South of France. The implemen- tation consisted of thin film solar panels covering a surface of approximately 50 square meters integrated within foldable shaded curtains. When there is too much solar irradiation within the greenhouse, the shaded curtains deploy themselves and generate energy in addition to creating shadow for the plantation.
