Identification
The solution aims to deliver economic, social and environmental benefits to end-users, while also empowering the active participation of citizens in the energy markets. The solution is a modular, interoperable and localized cloud-based Operating System designed to manage energy communities around the world, managing the energy flows and trades, as well as distributed energy assets to increase collective self-consumption, provides aggregation of flexible assets for balancing markets participation, and it can also aggregate generation to participate in Energy Markets. End-users (residential or C&I) are provided with apps to monitor and manage energy flows and transactions. The solution seamlessly connects the dots between behind-the-meter optimization for community members and front-of-the-meter grid resiliency and transaction management for local energy markets. It is promoting the energy transition in a decentralized, digitalized and democratized way.

The Fire Brigade of Izeda will avoid the emission of 11 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere every year. In addition, the clean energy surplus will support the equivalent of around 50 people in the region, which can include families and small businesses in the surrounding area.

- •30% cheaper energy than mainstream alternative
- •Sharing energy promotes additional reward scheme for the energy community's members, selling the energy surplus at least at ~0,05€/kWh
- •Flexibility benefits include additional 10% savings using flexible loads and 18.5% of more surplus shared in the community
