Identification
Eco H2® produces renewable hydrogen directly from organic material, such as municipal and agricultural waste.
Climate change and waste are two of the greatest challenges we face. Vast quantities of municipal waste are generated every year, creating greenhouse gas emissions in the process, particularly from decaying organic waste in landfills. EEI has developed a technology that can help reduce emissions from waste and at the same time produce clean, renewable hydrogen. EEI's Eco H2® process converts organic waste into hydrogen, in doing so both reducing emissions from landfill and producing clean energy. With demand for hydrogen as a fuel source increasing, Eco H2® provides a solution to two key challenges.
