The problem: The cultural and creative industries’ production process is broken – inefficiencies increase administrative costs by 50%, operations generate 1% of the world-wide carbon footprint and a maze of green certifications is putting pressure on productions at world-wide level. The opportunity: This industry is and will remain human-intensive and critical to our economic future: it employs twice as many people as the telecommunications and automotive industries combined and represents 4.4% EU GDP in terms of turnover. But this is a huge opportunity - mobilising this huge workforce to act on each production, upskilling them progressively and delivering returns on investments to productions by fixing every blockage in their production worklow. The solution: TheGreenShot is the 1st app that upgrades one of the most poorly digitised chain AND moves it to net-zero – delivering efficiency gains that save costs AND carbon footprints, creating a cohesive climate goal across production teams, fast-tracking productions to act concretely to save carbon footprints. Combining a unique innovation in real-time carbon footprints with an open partnership programmes that delivers connected data workflows that our customers did not even dare to dream about. The track record: Launched in 07/2021 after 5 years of development and testing on 5 large co-productions, TheGreenShot deployed its solution on 14 co-productions in 2022, saving 50 Tons CO2. With a team growth from 4 to 21 in 18 months, and a marketing presence in Europe, UK, US, Canada and New Zealand.
