Identification

More than 50% of global energy consumption is lost as heat. Despite this considerable source of savings, few concrete recovery achievements have been made due to the cost and complexity of current technologies. Improving energy efficiency in industry is a major challenge for the economy and the most effective solution to meet the commitments to reduce GHG. Our innovative solution produces electricity from burning processes waste heat. It works with fumes temperatures above 300°C in order to generate a power range from 25kWe to 1 MWe. The system is working with a mixture of vegetable oil and vapor which is propelled at high velocity onto a turbine. Coupled to an alternator, it enables to produce electricity. This electricity can be re-used by the customer for its own consumption or reinjected into the grid. Our solution is robust, green and will cut by twice the return of investment compared to competitive technologies.

The environmental benefits

  • In Europe, on average, a 200kWe system saves 16000 tons of CO2 emission during its lifetime
  • A 800kWe Turbosol system installed in a cement plant can reduce by 33,000m3/year the use of refrigerating
  • Provides electricity with 0 greenhouse gases emissions.
03.

The Financial benefits

  • A 4-year return on investment, twice as fast as directly competing ORC solutions.
  • Target cost comes to 3-3.5k€ per kWe for a 100 kWe installed system depending on the conditions (exchangers, power, environment, cold source, etc.)
