In the last decades, we have witnessed how environmental deterioration has had effects on the natural world and social well-being. Treedom decided to take concrete action by focusing on the deforestation and mismanagement of forest systems in rural communities. Treedom tackle as well the lack of funding opportunities preventing small farmers to engage in agroforestry activities, the loss of biodiversity and the information bias that discourages donors from financing initiatives managed by rural communities.
