Stykon photovoltaic panels are designed for large building roofs and are three times lighter than conventional panels (15 kg/m²), which are not compatible with the load capacities of many buildings. This solution provides access to decarbonized, decentralized energy, promoting energy independence by offering a sustainable, cost-effective option with very low environmental impact.

The Environmental Benefits

  • 3 times lighter than a standard ISO production panel
  • Quick and easy to install by direct gluing to waterproofing membrane
  • High mechanical resistance (5400Pa Snow load, 2400Pa Wind load, Hail: 35mm diameter hail stone resistance)
  • 100 MW of Stykon solution installed means 60,000 T of CO2 emissions avoided over 10 years of production
  • 100 MW of Stykon solution installed on existing rooftops means more than 40 hectares of land preserved
  • 100 MW of Stykon installed on an existing roof means 5,000 T of raw materials (1,000 T of aluminum and 4,000 T of steel) are not used, compared with the same installation on the ground
  • Heliup PV modules are installed on existing roof so no need for new construction on natural land
