The solar mini-grid installation is connected via smart electricity meters to several thousands of users, such as small industries and workshops (tailoring, welding, woodwork, agribusiness, etc.), public services (schools, health centers, water pumps, telecom infrastructures), businesses (beauty salons, shops & restaurants, cinemas), families and individuals. MySol Grid combines solar energy, mobile money, pre-paid smart energy meters, access to efficient appliances, and social engagement to offer a compelling service to customers. The Environmental Benefits

• •16 mini-grid sites in operation or construction, over 6000 connections and more than 30000 people impacted (currently expanding activities in new countries replicating the same business model)
• •One fully integrated 2.0 mini-grid of 600 kWp in operation in Uganda which includes an industrial park for ice machine, dry machine and water pump, with an e- mobility option (16 electric boats and 10 electric motorbikes)
• •Mini-grid customers can pay with mobile money to upload their smart meters
• •A program of mini-grids with 40,000 connections will avoid the emission of around 20,000 tons of CO2 per year
• •Intelligent irrigation system linked with the Solution's minigrid reduces agricultural losses by about 30% and ensures the efficient use of water
• •Providing services of electric mobility (e-boats and e-motorcycles) powered by solar mini-grids to rural African fishermen and moto taxis in order to reduce their energy costs and their impact on the environment.
