Identification

Our planet is losing a net of 8.1million acres of forest every year. Irrigation is responsible for 70% of all freshwater withdrawals in the globe. The MTP aims at solving these important environmental challenges and more through the introduction of a disruptive technology. This solution aims to restore forests and agricultural land through the use of marine water. The MTP technology has 3 different components, which all together represent a unique innovation that can revolutionize the fight to climate change: Desalination units which utilize solar energy to evaporate water and collect its condensate; the Waterboxx Plant Coocon, enabling the growth of trees, bushes and plants in extreme circumstances; and IoT modules enabling monitoring of plants to collect, analyze and share data for user-friendly purposes. This solution offers profitability and sustainability through technology.
