High-performance materials made of carbon fiber are used in a wide range of markets with a growing demand due to their unique characteristics in terms of weight and strength. However, most carbon fiber-based composite scraps and end-of-life products are not recycled but landfilled or incinerated. Fairmat has developed a technology-driven process to collect and treat these waste, designing and delivering second-generation carbon fiber composites and technology-driven industrial solutions for a circular future. This new high-tech composite is made from 100% recycled content and is used to develop innovative consumer goods. Fairmat offers its scalable technology to increase performance & manufacturing efficiency. This solution is developed with proprietary technological innovations leveraging mechanical recycling principles with robotics and new software to create low-impact carbon fiber parts that retain most of their original properties.
