Identification
The Solution aims at ending plastic pollution while regenerating nature in the most threatened biodiversity hotspots. We created a Model creating resilience within ecosystems through the collaboration of local communities, businesses, environmentalists by leveraging plastic pyrolysis. Transforming low-value plastics into fuel such as diesel and gasoline is the only economically viable solution and best alternative in those remote areas, enabling as such necessary incentives for communities to collect plastic waste, generate a profit through its transformation, creating traction by fueling local businesses such as tourism and enabling profit allocation into nature conservation and regeneration. Research continues to enable a transition to more sober solutions and find better alternatives than pyrolysis. In any case the action starts now. End Plastic Pollution, Regenerate Nature!

The environmental benefits
- •200 tonnes of plastic transformed into 100,000+ L of fuel per year (instead of burning or thrown in the sea)
- •Low sulfur (because not using traditional extracted oil) and high calorific value fuel (10% higher than regular fuel)
- •Low carbon emission during fuel production phase (compared to traditional extracted oil)
- •2,000 ha of marine protected areas per project on average (protect threatened species, support fishermen communities, ...)
- •an average of -50% of CO2 emission for our model compared to mainstream (without counting final offset) - see excel "carbon budget PO Project" and -90% of waste leakage in waterways and burnt in the open

- •More than 40,000 USD of profit allocated to nature conservation per project and per year
- •5 to 30% savings on traditional fuel price
- •The social impact is also essential with education of 20% (and growing) of engaged villagers to sustainability and the notion of waste > direct impact on supporting the whole model
