The environmental benefits
- •The robustness of the technology allows us to treat a wide range of wastes from various sectors such as; chemical, food and beverage, municipal, agricultural and livestock among others.
- •Taking the example of a waste chemical solvent, our technology can produce 50 GWh of energy per year in the form of methane and capture 3300 t/year of CO2 by treating 6000 t/year of the waste
- •When treating sewage sludge, compared to mono-incineration, which is the most common disposal solution, for 3 times less space, our product is able to recycle up to 95% of the waste value; and it emits 94% less CO2eq
- •TreaTech’s process conditions blast viruses, bacteria, as well as micro-pollutants from the water it treats - 90% recovery of water that can be reused

The Financial benefits
- •The technology can produce energy at prices as low as 30 US$ per MWh as opposed to other gas producers (Anaerobic Digestion US$>100; Pyrogasification US$>120; Power to Gas US$>200)
- •In addition to the waste disposal fee, the process allows for several revenue streams from the sale of methane-rich gas; phosphorous and NH3 fertilizer precursors; clean water; and carbon credits
